Just got a nice 812 Warming Filter for $8.00. Hopefully this can help a bit on those nice cloudy, foggy days in San Francisco.

When using multiple filters at the same time, circular polariser and the warming filter does it matter which one is in front? I'm assuming it doesn't matter so the cheaper one will go in the front.

Everyone always says put the polarizer on the outside but I've never seen any hard data supporting one way or the other. It's also always said not to stack filters but if the results work for you it's a non-issue. If you get flare or washed out images you could always look into a warming polarizer.

Well, I gotta ask, what's the attraction for using a warming filter on a digital cam? Setting the white balance takes about as long as installing the filter, and has no optical effect, something that can't be said for the filter. If you still want to tweak, warming in software is incredibly easiy and more flexible than the filter.
