Now that I've finally paid for DPC :) There's a lot of stuff not covered by the FAQ that I can find.

I'm not sure what that difference is between my portfolio & my workshop, and whats the difference (here) between a print and an image...

Welcome John! Just ask questions in the forums and someone will soon come to your rescue.

No good asking me, I've only just worked out which way round to use the camera :))

The workshop folder is a place you can put pictures to give people a link to see the picture but if someone looks at your portfolio they won't see anything in your workshop folder. A print image is the full resolution picture that you would use to sell a print of the photo. The image is normally a smaller version for others to look at the picture. Hope that helps a bit

Portfolio is, well, your local portfolio. You upload images to add to your challenge entries, categorize and display a collection.

You can use your Workshop folder to hold images temporarily. They are hidden from public view and only dislayed when you link to them in the forums.

Prints are sized high-resulution images uploaded to DPC Prints for the purpose of selling them.

ahhh. Thanks JC. Does make sense. Let's get that into the FAQ. :) Now to get some potential print-worthy stuff up there.
