Today the Air Force base offered a trip to an Okinawan Bull Fighting competition for Father's Day and thanks to someone not showing up, I got to go too.

Things you should know:
-This is not the typical bull fight like you would see in Spain or other countries.
-There is no man with swords fighting and killing a bull, it is two bulls fighting each other to show who is dominant.
-NONE of the bulls are killed and are hardly ever injuried.
The men in the ring our their handlers, they help encourage the bulls to fight (yeah like they need any lol).
-The bulls fight till one gives up, as soon as one runs he is declared the loser (this, however, does not necessarily mean the fight is over, many times they would come back at each other for a min or two)
-Yes that is rope, and at times fingers, in the bulls nose, apparently they follow you better when their nostils are being pulled off their face can't say I wouldn't either lol.
-The bulls fight basically fight for fun, there is no betting or prize money given.
