Here are some I took the day before the challenge, uncropped. Just curves and slightly sharpened...

good colors, and some good shots.
i used to race mountain bikes, good to see some shots of that sort of thing.

overall they are a bit on the dark side i think... fast shutter, cloudy skies...

not sure what you did with the shots, but i have been messing with custom white balances in dullish light situations, and had some good luck getting truer colors, and whites/blacks. i have been trying to capture motion in a different sort of way.

i wish i had more time to get out and shoot events. its fun

very cool shots! Too bad about them not being legal for the challenge.

Nice cyclo-cross action! The photos are a bit dark, which is an issue I struggle with during the Michigan Winter.

Deliberately under-exposed to avoid blown out whites and to get about 1/1250 shutter on a dull day with my Sigma 70-200 F2.8 (ISO 100 -- 400), so the pics are a bit dark.

Thanks guys...

They're really cool- I like the bottom left one, that one's great. Why aren't they legal?

besides the comments already made about the pics being a bit dark, I just want to comment on the site itself, the gray textured background really takes away from the photos. From a designer's stand point, you want to use a format and layout that puts all focus on your artwork especially when it's good work like yours :-)

Nice sporting pics, best I have seen on this site in a while. Yes, take
GoldBerry's advice and fix that textured background, I agree that it does seem to detract from your presentation.
