Not sure how many of you shoot portraits and maybe interested in working with several models, but I am working on setting up a shoot here in Newark Ohio. The details to follow:
The first ever Newark Ohio photo shoot. This will be Sat July 21st at Dawes on State Route 13 near I-70. There will be no cost to attend. The park opens at 7am, I was thinking of starting at 9am and it can last until 5pm or later if the model/photographers wish. There is close to 1700 acres to shoot at, including 3 small lakes, a swamp area, there is a cabin in the woods but no access to the inside. The park has on site security, and lots of visitors, but there is plenty of places to shoot.
This shoot will be for models of all ages, although I would suggest anyone under 18 bring a parent (I know I wont work with minors w/o one).
For those wanting to do swimsuit shots, you can do some on site, or there is a lake about 6 miles from this location with a small sand beach.
Models and photographers contact each other to set up shooting times.
First of all as a model/photographer you must contact the photographer/model you would like to work with. Find out if they are all ready booked for the time slot you have available or not.
I find that hour slots aren't long enough for me so normally I book hour and a half but that depends solely on model/photographer preference.
Your schedule should start to look like this:
