while actually playing his stuff would be impressive I think the crowd and judges might not know hsi stuff. you would want them really into it.

I went with My Sharona...my friend did the edit since it had to be 60 seconds long and the solo is 1:26. He did a great job.

There is a instrumental piece that Frank Zappa did called "Sexual Harassment in the Workplace" It is an amazing solo with a ton of feel and the first note is a string bend that goes on for like 4 measures. It rocks so much.

Still thinking...

Yeah Van Halen in the day RULED!

You must be in IT or something... you scare me sometimes...

Frank Zappa was a freak on guitar. I don't think there was anyone faster. Apostrophe has a good solo on it too... Might have been Stink Foot.

Other greats Jimmie Page - Whole lotta love, Rick Emmett (from Triumph) Stevie Vi - Tobacco Road (off eat em and smile (David Lee Roth)), Randy Rhodes (Ozzy), Jeff Lynch - Mr Scary or Wicked Sensation,

Remeber Gary Hoey he did (an remake of) Hocus Pocus that flamed //www.myspace.com/garyhoey

ED: Joe Satriani

A touch on the oxymoronic side, but hey, I'm excited for ya, Clint!

My fav's from back in the day were Eddie VH, Ronny Montrose, Ted Nugent, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai.

I've been lucky enough to photograph a stack of great guitarists in the last couple of years. Steve Vai even emailed me to thank me for I review I wrote, and called it inspiring! :-o

Air guitar's great fun, I miss those days!

Haha芒€娄yes it was tiring. My friends and a lot of the crowed thought I did a great job. I was not anticipating the amount of talent that was going to be there. I had a blast and the guys were not only good performers but great guys. I芒€檓 kinda glad it芒€檚 over though芒€娄I芒€檓 very tired.
