He heh - how amusing.
Delcambre town council unanimously passed the ordinance earlier this week making it a crime to wear trousers that show underwear.
This reminds me of my history studies when I turned up in research some legislation in about 1560 restricting the maximum number of darts that people could wear in their trousers: young men had the audacity to wear more and more, until the government stepped in to stop the scandal!
The only difference here is the slightly disturbing racial undercurrent that arises when a town in Louisiana legislates against black-originated fashion.
Do these people have nothing better to do?

Plumbers don't generally show their underwear. However, you raise another issue. There should be a law against showing your butt crack. |

It's those dodgy emo skin tight things that turn a blokes legs into a pair of golf clubs that I'd be more worried about. Can't be good for the circulation or reproductive organs.

Pluleeeezzzzzzzzzzz, don't play the race card on this one. By a factor of at least 2 to 1, many more whites wear this style. And do it less artifully I might add.

Probably not. The real peril here is trying to apply this law in the deep south without very specific language in the ordinance. Do these idiots realize how many southern plumbers their going to have to fine???????

The Councilman that proposed the ordinance is black.
