| Im looking to buy the Canon G7. Lots of mixed reviews I see but I think its what Im looking for. On a lot of those reviews, there are comments that the lens isnt wide enough for good landscape photos. Ive seen that there are some lens attatchments. Will some of those help? |

Yes the lens attachments will help. There is both a wide angel and zoom attachment available for the G7. It's best to stick with the brand name though as there are a lot of crap lenses available, especially on ebay.
You just need the adapter and you're good to go.
The Lensmate adapters are cheaper than the Canon version and you can get a 52mm one instead of the 58mm (makes for cheaper filters). Then you just need a 52-58 step up ring to attach to the lens.

Thanks for any info that I receive. Any good place to buy online at a good price would be helpful as well.

I've been buying locally, from Norman Camera. They're good about matching prices, and I look at the sales tax as the premium for getting whatever I'm buying right away. They also sell online. |

Oh yeah, I have the G7 as well.
It's an excellent camera with few limitations. IMO it's as close to a DSLR as you can get without actually having a DSLR. |

| will the g7 battery last at least a day or how many pics at a high res? Do I need to buy another batt? Going on vacation and if I dont have to buy one than I wont. All shots will be taken superfine high res. And some diving shots as well. |

Depending on flash usage, I get 150-250 shots on one charge. The battery charges pretty fast too. As long as you have an outlet adapter for wherever you go on vacation, you should be OK. |

| outlet adapter? You mean for out of country? The charger that it comes with I assume plugs into an regular outlet right? Stupid question I know. Its not a usb or dock charge is it? |
