Hi Shannon,
I just wanted to say that I really like the tree and barn shot, it seems very clear & crisp and I like how the tree fills the picture. It's very nice.
Another one of yours that I liked when I checked out your profile was "Donovan". That's a very cool idea.

I didn't care much for the Crucifix shot, but liked all the rest! I left (brief) comments on all!

Love the truck and sand pile. The colors go well together. I also like the weird geometry of it all.
The tree and barn is excellent. Very well composed, however the only little gripe I have is that the tree is cut on the left side.
Good work. Thanks for sharing.

Here are a few more I thought I'd share...as always...any comments or critiques are welcome and very much appreciated.
This one was going to be my entry for the December best challenge, but I took one of something totally different that I liked better today. How do you think this one would have done?

Hi Shannon; left comments on all. I'm envious of you getting out and shooting - wish I had more time to do that. |

May I ask at which recording mode you are using? TIFF, or JPEG? At which size? Noticed a lot of pixelation.
You have an eye for composition but let's see if we can help you show us what you see better.

I use JPEG, and I do have a problem with focus and such, any help anyone can offer is more than appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

Which Image Size are you using? Fine? High? Which program are you using to do post-production or used to download your pictures?

I shoot mostly in "fine" and I use Adobe Photoshop 5.0 Limited Addition to do most of my post production, I usually download them from my card using Kodak picture software but recently stared using Ulead Photo Express 3.0 SE.

1 more question. Image size you usually use? 640x480, 1280x960, 1600x1200 or higher?

Most of the images that I submit to challenges or upload to my dpc portfolio are 640 x 480. |

Are the photos you download onto the site look pretty much like when you view it after downloading from your camera? Have you tried the highest mode in your camera does it make a difference when you download?

Maybe someone else with a Nikon Coolpix 5700 can bring out some insite into this camera.
