I have a Nikon sb-600 flash.. I have used for about 6 months. Just now when it turns on the menu blinks and it doesn't go into standby mode unless the camera is off. It will also set off a random strobe every once in a while minutes.
I have not changed any configuration. I tried reseting it, replacing with fresh batteries, detaching from the camera and turned it on.
Can anyone help me figure what is going on here? Thanks. |

Mine just did this same thing about 2 weeks ago. I called Nikon and they said it's fried.
I have to send it back to see if it's even worth fixing. In the mean time, I picked up an SB800. :)

| I should also mention that it still works.... But now I wonder for how much longer. |
