The earthquake in Iran is the worst tragedy i have seen in my lifetime, with in excess of 20,000 dead and still climbing.

And yet it isnt the topic of discussion or have the same media attention as some other smaller tragedies that have happened?

Its good to see a lot of countries have pulled together to help Iran, as a lot of these people are really suffering.

Yes, and I heard they were willing to accept aid from any country ... except Israel. Good to knowthan in this hour of direst need the Iranian leadership still puts political militancy above the welfare of its citizens.

There are no words to express the sadness I feel about this tragedy.
Being a "natural disaster", I am not sure what else they can discuss through the media. It would be nice to see some outpouring of donations once they are in a position to accept that. :(
