Lets have a Post Processing Lighting Effects challenge. In PhotoShop under Filter/Render there is an option called lighting effects. Lets see who can use this feature the best.

Not everyone uses Photoshop. Do the other major photo processing software have an equivalent? Does Gimp?

It appears so. I typed the question in google and found this in another forum,

"It's been a while since I downloaded Gimp but I do know that I had to download a second bit (plug-in?). They do advise this at the Gimp site.

The light effects are under Filters>Light Effects. Try them out and play around with the settings that pop-up.

Here is something that took me 2 minutes to do (light effects on a blank background).

Have fun"

I know PSP has a pretty nice one lighting effect too...although I'd probably skip this challenge as I'm not very good at the PPing.
