Is there any way to get your picture to have the wide look as if it was taken with a wide angle lens without actually using that kind of lens. Like could I work with it in photoshop to look like that and if so, how?

You could take a series of images while rotating the camera and then stitch them together to make a panorama. Otherwise, you would stretch the image - but this would skew things in a very unnatural way...Originally posted by MssyNita: Is there any way to get your picture to have the wide look as if it was taken with a wide angle lens without actually using that kind of lens. It depends on exactly what you define the .wide look'.
If you want to get a wide vista into the frame you could stitch a panorama together. Hold the camera in portrait orientation and take a vertical sweep of picture, ensuring for at least 25% overlap between adjacent frames. A good program that stitch the pictures together without much work is Autostitch. |
