I haven't done much work with guys, but heres some I just did for a friend

Nice color, crisp, sharp and a good use of DoF. Personally, I find shooting from above to be more flattering to females, as it softens the features. When photographing men I tend to shoot level to the model or from slightly lower as this tends to emphasize their jawline and gives it a more masculine feel.

Just my two cents. :o)

Well I've never done a portrait for anybody, but the first thing I thought after viewing the first two was his face is directed down and I just thought that it didn't show him very well that way. Also what Brielle said.

That third one is crazy! lol.

Oh well I guess I meant the angle of his face to the lens of the camera. The camera is above looking down a bit. Maybe a little to the side and on the same line as his eyes parallel to gravity, or earth.

Your Angle isnt the expected Norm so well done for that, and your last one is a bit weired but also very very different.
