If the discount applies to this product, the cost of a 5D body would be about $2470, + $10 shipping.
Here's the link to the 5D:
Canon 5D on buy.com
(Check out the "Smart Savings" deals at the bottom of the page that offer a package deal with the 5D and a couple of EF-S lens. Good luck getting those to work together. :-) |
I don't believe "EF-S" lenses will fit a FF body such as 5D, they were made for 1.6 crop factor bodies such as Rebel XT, 20D, 30D. ?? |
But would buy.com call you before they ship and tell you about the mistake, and offer to "upgrade" you to a "better" lens? And sell you insurance, the battery that's not in the package, etc? |

Hmmm, I wonder if they will consider zoo shots as wildlife... :P |
From what I read of the entry rules, the wildlife shot must be taken in a National Park as well.
Just my 2 cents.

The rules are a little bit ambiguous. it says it needs to be taken in a "park or National Monument," but the fact that they don't state "National Park" seems to indicate that a state park might also be acceptable. |

It says,"landscape or wildlife taken in any park or National Monument located in the United States"

I think I will play it safe and enter one entry from a national park into one and one outside into the other.

That is weird. I used them for 5+ years. Never had a problem.
