I fall into many categories of these- post your own DPC "sniglets" here.

"lenswipe"- someone who complains incessantly about the comments received or that the score was too low.

"Billy Border"(or betty border)-someone who adds a gratuitous border to every shot

well- you get the picture- post your own- they have to be funnier than mine. and happy holidays.

Ok, I think I got the concept. But I can't quite come up with a name for the people who post pictures in B&W that would look better in color. What's a good "sniglet" for them?

"Monolites"?

"BeeBees" - Border bashers.
"Boulevards" - someone who submits the gratuitous Sunset shot, regardless of the challenge.

How about:

identapho [i-dent-uh-fo] - an entry where you recognize the photographer immediately because they use the same person over and over again in their photos. That challenge entry was a total identapho!

How about "saturist"? A "wetty" could be someone who uses water in their shot whenever possible because they know DPC voters like it.

Vo-ticulator Someone who always feels the need to start a forum thread rationalizing their voting procedure on challenges. ;>)

DPC Progressaphobia Individual who believes by altering the DPC editing rules, that it will be the immediate demise of all life as we know it and the earth will be blown back into the stone-age ;) lol

DPC Constructive Progressive Individual who believes it's OK to leave the rules the way they are unless you can come up with something that is better.

Is change for the sake of change really progress? Rule changes should be done only to advance the interests of the community as a whole, not just because of popular or vocal desires.

Fuzzle - a blurry shot of something you just can't identify

Photo-statistician - a photographer who remembers averages from competitions entered years ago to the third decimal (and is still stinging from the scores!)

FART. Fake Art, as in boohoo my creative photo (blurry crappy picture with no focal point or appeal)isn't doing well because people at DPC are not refined enough to understand (F)art. I love those fartists.

You're lucky enough to be a desklamper? I'm stuck being a floorshiner... Do you know how hard it is to spotlight something with a halogen lamp on a six foot handle?
