Hi all
I got this photo this morning
I'm wondering if there is a way to tone down the flair coming from the sun
Still trying to figure out photoshop :)

Have you tried curves? CTRL+M to access curves and then adjust as required. Should be able to reduce the glare from the sun by adding a slight S curve. Use 2 points on the curve and perhaps just the slightest curve.
Another thing you could try is the Exposure settings and try to reduce the Gamma setting down a touch.

Here is a 1 minute edit.
I clicked on the dodge/burn tool then set the burn amount to around 50% and burned in the hill.

i tried that out what do you think
i adjusted the curves a little and burned out the hill also around the sun |

You can see the difference in your images. It appears though that it has lost a bit of saturation, but this should be easy to resolve in PS. Pump up the sat a bit and it should bring it back to where it was.
