I have 3 portrait orientation entries in at the moment, and my screen res is 1280 x 960, and I have to scroll to hit my update button. This has a number of problems - well, 2 - and they're not really problems, lol
1. Having to scroll is annoying
2. It means I can't notice a change in score so easily since the page jumps back to the top and I can't see the numbers change.
I downloaded Platypus which is a Firefox extension which makes GreaseMonkey scripts, and modded my own page so that

Strange. All I did was drag the update button upe to the bar at the top of the page. You can then right click on it and choose properties to change the name of the button.
Then when you want to update...you just click it. |

Make sure you have a vacant bar on the top of the page. As you can see in the snapshot below....drag it up to the bar then right click and change the name in the properties.
Please don't ask me why I have a GIF ribbon on there...I don't know..lol!!

Okay...but someone saw that and wanted it on there's too...but it won't show. So I tried dragging the update button up there again and it worked...but no favicon...even after I used that update button.
What gives? |

Every time someone writes a DPCmod, someone else comes back and says "well, you could have just..."
Sheesh!
=D
Edit: BTW, Ben, what it should do is track your score every time you click update... and graph it. GM scripts have non-volatile storage, so this is actually possible. Ready... Go!

Nice! Maybe something could work in the same way as the "new comments" thing where your score appears red if it's down from the last update, and green if it's up? Would that be possible?

Now that idea I like. I can usually remember the three scores that are running...but somedays my brain is a fizz! |
