So I was feeling pretty good about my comments given/comments recieved ratio (right around 2:1).
Then I checked  posthumous; More like 4:1.
Which makes me wonder: who has the highest ratio? And shouldn't they get a special avatar or something? A big wet kiss? |

27354 comments at 1 minute each is almost exactly 19 straight days of commenting. Yow.
Of course, the good photographers are at a disadvantage, because their medal-winners get dozens of comments. Not a problem I've had as yet.
I'll go leave comments on some of these people's pics - to bring their ratios down, and mine up! ;)
But seriously, I find I learn as much if not more from giving comments than recieving them; particularly as I force myself to say something good and something critical, which means I discover the things that bother me that I might be overly forgiving of in my own work. |

If all you do is submit pictures that suck all the time then nobody will comment on them and it is easy to have a high 'comment given' to 'comment received' ratio. LOL!!!
Ok... All right... I'll go back into my corner and put the dunce cap back on.

But if they're TOO bad then you get all the "OOF" or "DNMC" comments. You have to walk a fine line ;) |
