This was a diffrent edit that would not have been legal:

I prefer your submission...... I guess I'm just sick and tired of all the grunge.

I know I'm only eleven, but your submission is much better IMO.

Cool, that is what I needed to know. The wisdom of a 6th grader far exceeds that of anyone else on the site.

I teach 6th grade, so I know!

Thanks Ringostarr. <--you actually know who he is?

Ditto, I think it has more of a feel and focus to it than the submission.

Jason

How dare you go outside of the team!!!! I am so upset I think I may have to enter something really crappy this week... oh that's right, all my entries are usually crappy...

I like the reworked /edited one - more textures and richer colors - probably not as DPC friendly, but I like it better.

I like the edited version.

I like the even warmer colors of the edit, but do think it is over processed in some areas. So I'm leaning more towards the original. Something in between the two would be cool. Would like to see a little more detail in the shadow so more of the focus is on the record, the prime shape in the shot.

Something close to thise perhaps?

I like the original better or if you did something like what Techo just posted. I might feel definitely if the textured version made it look like an older photograph but your version didn't accomplish that.

They're both great but I prefer the edited version.

Maybe related to these guys?

I agree with him. I like the entry better and though the color tone gives it the old photo look, I think it might work with just a little desat in the reds and/or yellows. Not too much but a little. JMHO of course
