| Our local Marriott Hotel was holding a photo contest to have new pictures to hang in their guest rooms, and I just won!!! There were over 550 entries and only 10 were selected! I'm SOOOO excited!!! |

It's the Ventura Pier. Cool fact: it's the longest wooden pier in California. Cool fact #2: 'Little Miss Sunshine' used this pier in part of their movie. |

| Congratulations, Tom! Is that the pier, too, in your Vanishing Point shot? I used to live out in Ventura and I miss that pier so much - always thinking of new and exciting things I could do there! |

Yup, 500 big ones. I think the cooler part will be that the guests have the option of buying the prints they see on the walls, so this is sorta like endless opportunities for more income. I think they have over 100 rooms.
Just found out that the president of my school, the mayor, and a few big wig photographers are going to be at the reception in 2 weeks!!
