Can't find a thread about this new challange. Hope I understand the subject correctly.

Just shoot two subjects (trees, cats, dogs, books, etc, etc). Am I correct?

Sounds right to me. I'm expecting to see quite a few sets of twins...

Not necessarily... you could shoot a picture of Abe Lincoln and a cloud that looks like Abe Lincoln... or a lightning bolt that is shaped like a tree beside where it strikes... or....

What about exposing twice in a single frame a model?

That's a close second, behind twins :)

How do you expose twice in a single frame on a digital camera. Is this possible? Would it voilate any rules about using only one photo?

Actually it's not legal for challenges any longer - not unless you are clever enough to cover and uncover the lens and do the whole thing as one exposure. I wouldn't even know where to start myself.

Edit: Well Judi found a link to an explanation before I'd even finished posting this. And that method is legal for challenges.

Dark studio, long exposure, pop the flash, move the model, pop the flash again.

according to description of challenge, the 2 subjects must be similar, and that is it. Can Image overlays be illegal?

I believe so:

"Challenge details.Take a photo in which two SIMILAR subjects are captured at once."

So they can determine if twins are not really twins and just dual exposures. Got it.
