So I submit for challenges Sunday night (Monday morning here, actually) with some hope that the entry will be well received. Then scoring starts. I watch for a bit, getting more and more depressed as scores come in. I check the scores thread. Then I turn off scores. And once again - disappointed. This kinda repeats on Wednesdays, but not quite as bad, because by then I'm already discouraged from Mondays and no longer have any hope for the Tuesday night entry.

What I need is a way to overcome my perverse addiction to entering challenges. I think this would fix the Monday problem. Any suggestions? Is there a support group? :-)

Deb, I know what you're saying. I enter a challenge then dread the fact that I've been suckered into it again. :)

In fact, just entered one for Religion and that dreaded feeling has started already!!

It doesn't last long for me. I usually don't submit an image unless I think it's good. In fact, I have to like it so much that I believe it's a "6-plus" image before I'll click the submit button. After that, it's just a matter of waiting to see whether the voters agree with me or not. Guess what? They usually don't. 24 hours is usually enough to know for sure. After that first day, I've usually already accepted whatever my images' fate is, and I can enjoy the rest of the week.

I could just stick 'em in a folder after the challenge.... but I can't! I have to enter! I don't know why! I wanna stop!!! But I probably won't. And the cycle continues.... :-)
