1. Here's my wife speaking with a newspaper photographer after he took some photos of one of our daughters:
2. Here's my wife laughing as he's walking away because:
a) he's a Nikon user.
b) he just asked her for a date and I'll be away next week.

...oh, and I should mention... Later on she told me that my lens is bigger than his, MUCH bigger!

OK I will bite and go down the often trodden path....
Its not the size of the lens that matters it the mechanics. No Nikon guys don't get the girls the girls get the Nikon Guys. |

Curios... how did you process those images? That have something of a "surreal look" to them. (and I'm *not* referring to the size of his peripheral)

I wasn't very careful. I've been using Photoshop 7 for years, but recently bought CS3, and have been fooling with it. These might look weird because I used some shadow/highlight details (about 15 to25). I think I did the usual levels & wee bit of curves. But the green was crazy, so I completely desaturated the green channel. The desat may be the main reason for the odd look.

Maybe you've stumbled onto a cheap method of imitating the LucasArt filter. That's what I thought you must have used on the images.
