I have a loving dog that needs a good home. Live in pennsylvania my old lady wants her gone. I have two dogs and we just had a baby a few months ago and it is a bit too much. So josey has to go thats her name. If anyone is interested let me know I can put a picture up and give a little more info. This is just a shot in the dark. Or if anyone knows of some good options because I really don't want to send her to the pound.

You might post a pic, and the kind of dog, size, disposition, kids/no kids , indoor/outdoor and whatnot.

Just a suggestion, get rid of the "old lady" instead.

Are you willing to ship the dog out of state?

Just wondering.

I too would like to know more about the creature.

If this dog is a purebred, there are a lot of rescue groups that will help in this situation. They will have contacts and check references and find your old lady a good home... uh, I mean you dog. If she is a mix I think there are rescue groups for those as well, but I'm not sure.

If she is a purebreed contact your animal control or vet and ask if they have a list of the rescue groups in your area for that breed. Most animal shelters would love to see a good dog go to a home than come to them as well. And if you do talk to a rescue coordinator, be trueful about the dog. If she doesn't like cats or kids or other dogs, let them know so they can find the appropriate home.
