a Pentax K100D?and if so can anyone help me with this technique?

In-camera multiple exposure is only allowed in Expert Editing. Can't help with how.

i glanced through the manual, and dont see how you can do it in camera

You can... just have to be creative with either a flash or with a lens cap :-)

Yeah check out graphicfunk's portfolio. He is the master at that and he explains how to in the image comments of all his photo's.

Actually, unless you *really* want to do it in-camera, it's best done in post. Of course, as previously posted, if the effort is for a challenge at DPC, only the Expert Rules allow this.

And even then it may be easier to do it from several photos. I used the technique twice for challenges and it took alot of thought to do it the way I wanted it too. With the D200, you can't just set the camera on a tripod in a room and keep taking photos in different places and have all of you there. It has to even the light from each exposure so they are not all blown out, which means that things that move in the frame will be faded, like this shot.

Its fun to do, but takes alot of work. Where in post you can take two shots and fade them together or mask out what you don't want to more accurately get it the way you want. My opinion, do it in Post. :)

so if i set up a camera on my tripod,i should if i understand this right, be able to take several of the same set,only adding to or deleting things in the shot later be layered to appear to be multi exposured right?
