Are there any good internet sites that actually can give you step my step info on how to build a matte for your prints?
Not a matte in PS. PAAAALLLEEEEEZZZZEEEE.
A matte that is cut, and fitted, for an image that is actually printed and ready to be displayed.
Thanks.

this sounds like a pretty good one - I did it a few times when I was in art school, but now I just go for the pre-cut ones you can buy at the local art supply store, but making your own is a great way to get custom sizes. if you start to enjoy doing it, you might want to look into a mat cutting knife which gives you that beveled edge. good luck! |

we used to use a thing like a paper cutter except it had angled blades on a track. I guess you could say it was a matte cutter. I always hated cutting matte. Buy some and save your self some fustration |
