So I just downloaded some brushes off the internet and once they were done loading I relize I dont know how to put them on cs2 so could some one help me out with were to put the files?

This would be the default location. the drive letter may be different if your programs are not installed on the C: drive.
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets\Brushes
Edit: I didn't know the precise path, but it was easy to find. I just searched for files with the .abr extension in the Program files main folder.

| You shouldn't need to restart the computer, but you will definitely have to restart Photoshop. |

I placed the files in the folder but it wont show up on my brushes list do I need to restart my ccomputer for them to show up? |
On the brushes palette click on the little black arrow...you should see them there and you can load from there as well.

Yes, forgot that little bit. If you still want the default brushes to show up, click "append" instead of "replace" when the dialog comes up. |

| u can just drag brushes and textures straight into photoshop and it deals with them ;) |
