I am not clear on the rules yet. I took one picture like they said and all I did was play with the light, color and saturation, etc. Just minor things. I also cropped the original picture and rotated it alittle. Was that wrong because now they are asking for my original and I don't want to be eliminated. I am so upset right now!

The rules of the challenge are located in the challenge description. If it's under basic rules, it'll state that and you can click the link to see what you can do in basic rules...same for advanced.
During voting if someone thinks you violated the rules they'll report it and you'll be asked to submit your original. If you can't provide the original or you did violate the rules for that challenge you be DQed....if you didn't you will be validated and no one will question it again.

Don't fret about the request, it just means we don't know how you got from point A to point B. In this case, you didn't put any processing details on the entry, so we need to verify.
When you upload your original, make sure that you include the processing steps you took. |

As long as you applied the light, color and saruration to the entire image you'll be fine. If you made a selection of any kind and applied those filters to the selection only, you will have an issue.
Cropping and rotating shouldn't be a problem. |

Well this sucks, I don't think I did anything wrong. I will just have to send in the original on my lunch break and hope for the best!

Don't look at it as sucking. It's basically saying that your photo was real good...so good that someone didn't think you could possibly do it following the rules.
Besides if you read the rules and you didn't do anything wrong according to the them, then you have nothing to worry about. |

Most likely you'll have nothing to worry about then. Even on the off-chance you did make an honest mistake, and we do have to disqualify your entry, it doesn't mean anyone will think you were trying to cheat. We're always more than happy to answer any questions you might have about the challenge rules.

READ THE RULES. UNDERSTAND THE RULES.
Best thing to do is read the rules EVERYTIME you are thinking of submitting. Just read through them again and again and again, each time, before you submit something. If you are unsure of what you can or can't do, DON'T.
Start learning to get what you want in the camera...then phootshop (and the rules) are of no consequence.

WELL THANXS FOR WRITING ME ON THIS ONE....THE PICTURE ON MY PAGE WAS NOT THE ORIGINAL, IT WAS A DIFFERENT PICTURE FROM A DIFFERENT DAY BUT I DID REMOVE IT BECAUSE YOUR RIGHT, IT IS PRETTY CLOSE. AGAIN THANXS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO WRITE ME!

you're welcome. And for what its worth I like your entry. Keep us informed on what happens. By the way I'm going to select you as a fave photog because I think you have potential and I want to follow your progress. Not that I'm any expert or anything but, if you need help with anything just let me know. Kind of like a mentor thing.
p.s. I didn't think it was the original for the one you entered but the one that you first entered and asked about in another thread. Even if it isn't either one I'm glad you took it off.
