Java good. There are usually a couple of parades that come right by the apartment. I have to walk a whole block to get there. Pick away, just don't go through the nose to get to the brain!

Euuuw! LOL.

Supposedly there is a parade next Saturday afternoon (Think it's Krewe Gemini), but which one is the best? James has to work every other weekends, so the BIG one in two weeks...we can't go unless it's on Sunday (never is, lol!) Comments? Suggestions? :)
Seems this one and the one in two weeks have the best beads. Where is the best place to be for getting beads? Last time we went it sucked!!!! Very few beads and cold as crap! The year before...we had BAGS of beads...(sat in the family section, lol)

Best thing to do is stand next to a bunch of little kids (behind them is best) and snag the beads above the kids heads. I really get tired of the little ones beating me to the ones on the ground! j/k

I'll have to get the paper and look for a schedule. There may be one on online for Shreveport, I'll go look and be right back.

This will only be my second Mardi Gras in Shreveport so I'm not sure which one is the best for beads. I'll ask at work when I get back on Tues. Here is a link with the schedule of each Krewe and I pretty sure the bigger/better ones are towards the end.

Groan..... who was making all that noise in here? Can't a woman get any sleep?

I need COFFFFFEEEEEEEEEE........ and a new bed, apparently :( I'd pretty much accepted waking in pain as a fact of life, but have discovered that I can sleep on the couch and wake painless. I really don't think moving to the living room on a permanent basis is a viable solution, though.

Yup, it sure does. But I had surgery on the top half of my spine to start fixing it...gonna have a procedure done in the near future on my lower back to finish it off.

I remember :( Mannnn, I hope it's fully successful for you! After nearly 20 years I still marvel at the results with my shoulder. :)

Pretty much anything is a little easier to tolerate when there's an end in sight, no?

Eug, have you got one of those? I see the ads, and they look great, but they aren't cheap! I've already spent a small fortune on various pillows, trying to avoid waking with a pounding headache (like today). I'm not ready to invest thousands on a bed without knowing it's going to help.

Hmmm.... maybe I need to come visit and try it out? :)

We both swear by our bed and this last year has been horrible due to all the travel and living in someone else's guest room and hotels and such. However, once we get back to our bed, a couple days of adjusting and all is well.

One thing to remember is that it will last twice as long as anything else. To compare price you'd need to double the price of the others. It's easy to disassemble and move, too.

Best thing we did for our sleep.

I've bought every pillow known to mankind trying to prevent headaches...and the big, fluffy ones, just cause more! Let me send you some to try, lol..they are shoved everywhere in this house!!
