I was allowed to on this shot. Tree bark was used.
But not on this shot. Dog hair.
So I think it is all about the impact that it has on the image itself. Both cases I submitted the photos for proof, both with diffrent results. So I figure that it is left to council interpretation. So if you do use a texture in a photo, you probably want to pre-submit it for approval before the contest starts. |

I pre-submitted that one explaining what I had done, and to my surprise it was approved. |
