Ok no one wanted to comment on my missed water submission so how about this? Lets try to cheer things up a bit.
I made this mini poster from a macro shot I did of red ants.
The photo is not the best in the world but I think the message
it sends is better!
Note the little bugger on the left hanging on with one leg.

Good work Calvus!
It´s a nice nature moment. A rare shot. Great illustration to the message, that you was very happy to choose.
About the photo itself, I know how dificult is to compose and shot this singular moment on macro mode, despite of your pro set (EOS-10D). The focus are not precise and confuse some parts of Ant´s body. May be some PS adjustments helps to sharp it. The exposure are perfect for me and the composition works well for the theme.
Overall it´s a great job! |

It was funny how I took this shot.
I laid down on the ground and gently put the stick into the small red ant hill and started to shoot with my 105mm macro lens. But at the same time trying to keep an eye on where these ants were going! I was almost up to the stick with the camera as it was. I found it hard too hold the camera still :)
The bite maybe small but they hurt like H@L@.

The lengths some of us will go to, to get a good shot, always makes me laugh! I love the shot, Calvus; and the "poster" idea is fitting for it. |

As I am an economist, the poster fits my "job" (I am a student) well. :-) I guess my school mates and teachers would love this, too. :-)
