I just bought the book America 24/7! By Rick Smolan.
Its absolutely wonderfull! I participated by sending in 7 photos but none were picked for the book, thats not to say that 1 might or could be picked and used in 1 of the 53 books representing each state thats going to be out in September 2004.
Anyways I was really wondering how many DPCers participated if any, and if any of their photos were published in the first issue?
And even if you didnt participate,
theres some great stuff in it and I highly recommend it to all.

I participated. Not heard a thing. I am wondering how the percentage of photos came out, involving the pro versus everyone elses photos. Considering that the "pros" they chose were able to enter 150 shots, versus Amateur Joe got 5 (or was it 7?). Be interesting.

I participated, not picked for the national book, but was contacted about the Utah 24/7 book. Apparantley this shot will be included. Not my favorite, but happy to be a part of it.

Thankyou for sharing, theres so many threads of everything its hard to find em! Some great photos were entered and still should get credit even if not picked for the book! Has anyone here mentioned or thought of a DPC photo book? That would be neat too!

jjbeguin,, kiwiness, as so many others have enough great pictures to published their own books. Maybe a couple of volumes.
