40GB Polaroid Media Backup Storage Device

It supposedly is set to automatically search a hard drive for photo files to transfer, and more advanced users can tweak it, but I can't find in any specs if it's limited to specific photo file types. It's made for a mass market with little to no computer savvy, so I'm wondering if it will find RAW files (which most digital cameras don't have), or if that's something it can be adjusted to do. What I like is that it's small and affordable, so it wouldn't cost me a fortune or any real luggage space on a vacation. Anyone have experience with it?

I just skimmed through the user manual on Polaroid's website, and it doesn't list compatible file extensions, either, but it does mention that the largest single file size it can handle in a transfer is roughly 4500MB. Does anyone know the size of a 10 megapixel RAW file offhand? I checked the image stats in-camera, and it doesn't give a file size.

Erggg... nevermind. I don't see where it accepts a USB connection to a camera, just to a computer.

So the next question:
Small portable and inexpensive backup devices that accept a USB connection or an SD card to dump files into on the road? My laptop absolutely cannot handle this task. :P
