Part of my Media coursework at school is to make the introduction sequence of a thriller. I've got it filmed, and I've added the soundtrack, but theres 1 thing missing. Dialogue.
I was wondering if any males here had a mic that they could use to record a few words, and then email them to me as a wav file. I need a sort of low gravelly voice, as this is the voice of the villain character. If anyone has a voice like that, or they can put on a voice like that, then I would really appreciate the help. I will include your name in the opening credits if you wish.
The words are:
"Hello Matthew. It's time."
And then on a separate file, a little evil chuckle :)
It needs to be kinda creepy and a little patronising. A bit like Hannibal Lector when he says "Hello Clarice".
I can't use British accents however, as I'm creating a binary opposition and the main character is english, so the villain needs to be different.
Thanks :)

I guess my New Zealand accent won't help you much either :) Try Mag, he's got a Hannibal Lector kind of voice :) And seeing he's recorded songs before he'll have all the necessary recording gear too.

Yeh I was going to ask Mag too, but I thought it would be nice to have a variety :) Your NZ accent could be perfect... do you want to give it a go?

I'd love to help too, since my accents are fairly amusing (ie range from bad to awful), but I've not got a mic here either, soz...

ok I just sent you one ... .wav, but full of static. Must be my French Canadian accent: "Hello Mathew, it's time, eh"

Can't help (being the wrong sex AND having a British accent) but just wanted to say how cool this project sounds... much more fun than the stuff we did when I was at school!!! |

Finished :)

It's just the opening sequence, so don't worry, you're not supposed to understand what's going on :P
The text on the phone was lost during compression, but it looks fine on the VCD.
There are still a couple of imperfections and contrinuity problems, which i'll iron out at a later date.

Nice camera work, good cuts, between the inside and outside house. The music had that nice suspensful feeling.

Thanks everyone :)
Paul: Not sure if I'll be doing a full version, just 3 a minute introduction took long enough!
