Deb, I'm crossin' everything that can be crossed (and I'm Jewish!).

Robert: it's tough being the new guy, isn't it? The only use for our team suck teams is to determine who gets to vote on that week's YAPPIE and OOBIE awards. But anyone can nominate, even non-team-suckers. Half the time I can't remember which Team Suck team (tribe? group?) I'm on.

Other than that, we're just one big happy somewhat random family. :)

I can't tell you how much I am enjoying the Home Page this week. I would like to stop time right here so we could have three TSers in the ribbons forever.

Hay. Maybe someone with a few computer skills could get a screen capture, and hang it in our beach house.

Sheesh. There's just nothing I can say that won't dig the hole deeper. I know, because I already typed out about 5 of 'em and then hit delete. :P

It's okay. The fact that you can win a ribbon and still not get the Momentary Lapse of Sucking Award shows the spirit of a true Suckster...

Bah, one of my cool ideas for Candid didn't happen because the "model" was asleep and missed dropping off his grandparents at the airport. I'll have to try for something else tomorrow. I wonder how many other Candid shots will be set up like this..

BTW, it's a "larger" sized image, so click on the link to view it larger (the 720 width was too small, IMHO).

I didn't merely not get the award, I managed to get under TWO other suckers.

The latest. I volunteered for the lesser of the two evils of the jobs to be filled and found that someone else got picked over me. They did pick someone else for the job I really, really don't think I can do, but his commander is fighting the assignment so it still might be mine. Even if it isn't, I'm next on the list anyway. So my commander comes up with a very reasonable solution - and we think we've got it covered. Except the rules say you can get credit for 181 days but orders can only be issued for 179 days. How does that work?? At any rate, I figure I'll be dead of a bleeding ulcer or malnutrition before anything actually comes to pass. Severe stress is an excellent way to lose weight, by the way!

Gah, indeed. I feel horrible for you and what mental terrors you must be going through right now with this situation.

Deb, I won't pretend I understand this, but please (I know this is easy for me to say), please breath, eat, and take care of yourself. I'll still be pressing my thumb (German style) and crossing my fingers (American style).

I'nm in for painting w light, actally shot ws ment to be for cndid, but this morning i looked and reealized pwl was still open, so it's in.

Lots of interesting double takes!

It is indeed a soap opera. But by gosh, I was never cut out for acting. :-)
