Hi,
I was working on my Silky smooth entry and I was thinking if I could take some feedback on it through some other site. Is this Ok ?

Do it all the time.
There are no rules at any site that I am involved with that say that "their" site is exclusive.
However, be careful, there are other members here that are members on other sites as well, and they may recognize your images.
This could result in dire circumstances with the outcome of voting.

| You'll want to make VERY sure that you tell them explicitly to NOT vote on your image should they see it on another site. You and they both could get banned if it looks like collusion. |

Could, most likely suspended from entering, if it's a bigger deal then they move up to banned from site. I guess Rikki only got a year though. |

Yikes....I have recently posted both my current entries on another site for some feedback...thing is people use different names on different sites, so you don't always know who they are!

You're fine with that. The issue is when you post to another site and then ask your friends to come to DPChallenge to vote on your photo here.

I wouldn't worry about it. I post my images on several other sites, both for feedback and competition. I don't even mention dpchallenge.
Where you get into trouble is if you start suggesting people come here to vote for your image.

Yes, provided that you do not link directly to the image from the forums, your forum signature or your profile.
Linking to the site where the image is hosted is fine, as long as your link includes a prominent warning that the site may contain current challenge entries.
If you seek help from other DPC users, that's fine too, but you should ask them to refrain from voting on your entry.

Really? Could you please PM me and clarify what you mean? I don't remember ever issuing a suspension of more than 1 year for friend-voting.
