Damn, i hope mine doesn't get severly overlooked here. I happen to really like it, but with 500+ entries im hopeing it wont get drowned out. Its not gunna be easy to pick out ones to vote on with them all being desated, harder to for one to jump out at you.

516 as of this post....

yeah, there will be a lot to wade through, but there is still plenty of time to go through them all for voting and commenting. I really like my entry, too. What I do predict is a very tight race for the ribbons, and a lower average score for the winners...also I predict fewer comments per photo on average :D

Nudes routinely get at least that. ie my Nude IV entry got 1244 views during voting.

I've always made it a rule not to vote on challenge I'm competing in just so I don't subconciously vote lower knowing I'm voting for my competition. I'm going to have to break my own rule and actually vote this challenge because who has the time to vote on that many pictures? We're going to need all the help we can get putting in votes. I think 500+ pictures will intimdate a lot of voters to just pass even starting this one.

anyone think they should put a limit on entries perhaps? like 400 or so, except for freestudies maybe? alot of good entries are probably gunna get overlooked.

I suggest that who ever votes on all pics in the challenge will get a selective color ribbon

Nah, because it's random for each voter, every image will have the same chance of being voted on. A few images that have more thumb appeal may get more votes. But overall, I don't think the number of entries decreases a photos chances of being seen much.

Besides, it keeps the trolls busier :-D

Well there is two hundred of us on line right now. How many of ya are going to stay up all night voting? I think I am going to vote on about 150 a day lol.

I'm going to stay up tonight and vote on them all. I'm a night owl anyway...bedtime for me rolls around sometime between 4am and sunrise.
