Your 10D will surely have a manually settable white balance.
Alternatively, you can buy colour-temperature correction filters - film crews use them all the time to bring various types of lamp into the same colour range.

As an alternative to placing a filter over the lens, which can degrade the image. You can buy gel filters to place over the light and correct the color there. The advantage to this approach is that it lets you use multiple light sources of different types without the light from one source being color shifted. In your example, had the source been corrected to approximate daylight, you could have used the flash unit on your camera as a fill light and it would not appear dramatically blue. You don't have to worry about scratches on them either.
Usually they are pretty cheap, maybe $20 for a color correction set.

No need for filters or gels. Just get a white piece of paper and hold it under the light and use that as you would normally to set a manual white balance. |

This is true, and is typically how you would do it if you just have one type of light source, but it it will not balance light from two or more different types of light sources.

Good thing we are only talking about a single light source then. |
