ok I am working on a similar picture as this one for a challenge.
anyone see any problems this would have as far as the rules are concerned

Used a monochrome gradient map in negative to remove color
used curves and burned some spots
then raised the contrast and brightness

If that's all you've done it sounds legal in advanced but not in basic.

Edit: Forgot to say I think you've done great with the one you've posted. I like it a lot.
