Well, that's one of them thar . . . Well what the heck is that thing??
So, does anybody know what this lens is, or is for, or why it is in existence? I picked it up at a sale years ago, and have tried to find out something about it without any luck. Google searches come up bunk.
Here's what's on the lens:
Aldis f/5.6 Triplet W|D 20in. Focus No. 85124
Here are some pics (these are dpc thumbs, so click 'em for a look):
Anybody? Anyone?
What the heck is that thing??
Thanks :)
Rob

Hmph. That was easy :)
Thanks, American Horse, very much appreciated.
Quite glad it came in a box of junk and I didn't pay for it separately (and that in the box with it, for which I paid $10, was a slide to 35 mm film converter that I sold for $60).
So, time for the bin, or should I list it on the freebies thread?
It's a great big hunk of glass, that's for sure :)
Thanks again,
Rob

Put it on EBAY, see if you can a few bucks for it.
Couldn't hurt.
