Subject: A US MARINE WANT TO TRANSAT WITH YOU

Good day My Friend, I am Captain Simon Smith of the US Marine Force on Monitoring and Peace keeping mission in Baghdad-Iraq. On the 4th day of May 2007, we were alerted on the sudden presence of some Terrorists camping in a suburb not too far from Karbala here in Iraq . After Immediate intervention, we captured three (3) of the Terrorists, twenty-six (26) were killed leaving seven (7) injured.

In the process of torture they confessed being rebels for late Ayman al-Zawahiri and took us to a cave in Karbala which served as their camp. Here we recovered several guns, bombs and other Ammunitions including some boxes among which two contains nuclear weapons, one filled with hard
drugs(cocaine) and the other four to my amazement contain some US Dollars amounting to $24 Million after I and two of my junior intelligent officers counted them. I however instructed them to keep this in high secrecy.

I am in keen need of a Ć¢€œReliable and TrustworthyĆ¢€ person like you who would receive, secure and protect these boxes containing the US Dollars for me up on till my assignment elapses in here in Iraq. I assure and promise to give you 14% of this fund, however feel free to negotiate what you wish to have as your percentage in this business.

Please assure me of your keeping this topmost secret to protect my job with the US Monitoring and Peace-Keeping mission.

Sincere regards,

Capt Simon Smith.

The still need to work on their grammer. "... you who would receive, secure and protect these boxes containing the US Dollars for me up on till my assignment elapses in here in Iraq." Who says THAT?

I like the "In the process of torture they confessed being rebels..."

So a guy that never met me and sent me a random email, with an American sounding name, but clearly english is not their first language, that tortures prisoners, is going to trust me to hold on to 24 million for him, and like wise I'm going to put my trust in them!

Who are the stupid people that fall for this crap?

Interesting, considering al-Zawahiri is still alive. Or he was lst week when he released a new video.

These spammers need to do a little research.

Ok I might have considered this UNTIL I read this part:

"I and two of my junior intelligent officers counted them.

come on "intelligent officers"? lol I think I smell an oxymoron in there. (Trust me, I see and work with them everyday, there are some real winners out there lol). And junior also, ha if they are so intelligent they wouldn't be junior to you Captain.

Got to love their "never-quite trying to scam someone" attitude...if they only applied that to something productive.

sounded rather convincing, since he only asked for a quote, and the date is still in the future. i dont understand the "3 films" part though.

There are several clues, bad punctuation, no space after the '.' in his name and it happens more than once. More bad punctuation and grammar in 'mum's'
He didn't capitalize Mexico but did captalize and misspell anniversary.
does'tt capitalize 'I' half the time.
most Americans call thier mom, mom, not mum, that is usually a UK affection. (not saying it can't happen, but it's not likely)

And the biggest clue...... it got sent to everyone on my Equine Photographers list (a nationwide group) so he must have a lot of Mum's floating around the place all having a birthday on the same day! Some of us got it several times.

Cracks me up how easy they really are to spot if you know the clues and you talk to anyone else in the world!

So what did they do with the "(7)injured"? Apparently they didn't capture them, so they must have let them go.

I guess I'll ask Captain Smith when we meet to exchange the money.
