Are there other Arizona DPCer's interested in the get together?
If so be sure to contact Tina (tfaust)
Despite her long criminal history Tina is really OK. Besides she has not committed any new offenses in recent weeks according to Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Therefore you should't have anything to worry about, I think.

Uh, Thanks Steve - I thought I asked you to keep that on the down low!?! :-)
We'll be getting together sometime in January - I'll be able to determine what type of outings to suggest when I know who would like to attend.

Hi again folks...
After careful consideration of some places we could all meet, my thought is for something we could all enjoy, possibly help each other with technique and perspective and would also be somewhere everyone can come along regardless of ability. So, here's my thoughts:
Casa Grande Indian Ruins
Out of Africa wild animal park (East Side, Fountain Hills)
Wild animal park on the west side (sorry, not sure of the name)
Phoenix Zoo
Although the Superstitions are beautiful any time of year, I thought it would be better to hold an outing there in the spring when we'll get to see the desert in bloom.
Any thoughts, suggestions, ideas??
Now for a date... Is there any particular weekend day that doesn't work for any who plan to participate? |

I hope everyone had a terrific Christmas!
How would everyone feel about meeting the 3rd weekend in January at the Phoenix Zoo.
There were many reasons for choosing The Phoenix Zoo - but one of the keys is that it's centrally located.
In the spring I'd like to have a Superstition Mountain photography outing to capture the flowers/foliage.
Look forward to meeting everyone - please PM me if you would like to go along - I hope we are all able to attend. Depending on how many we get, I'll call the zoo and see about a group discount.
