I think that you will get a TON of comments saying that it DNMC or they don't understand it. The rules say "The ficticious band "DPL" needs a photograph for their first album cover and three words to go along with their acronym." so I would think that for whatever your DPL stands for the picture should say it too. When it comes to things like this I like to think that if the image didn't have the words, the actual picture should tell it.

It is too bad. I am out, because my idea makes a marvelous cover, but it does not just do the band. I love it, it works very well, but because I came up with a debut album name, though the band name appears on the album, I can't afford to get a score below 5. Have fun the rest of you.

Well, I spent much of the week trying to figure out 3 interesting words for DPL and then was going to create an image to go with them, but nothing seemed workable. Last night I decided to reverse my process and go through all the pictures I took this week for other reasons to see if one of them might inspire me, and lo and behold, one did! I don't even think it's a shoehorn. Lord knows how it will score, but it was a lot of fun to process. Who knew being able to add text would be such a thrill ;-)

Do you think it's OK to create a cover for a solo artist-even though its says band and they....? Could anyone preview my photo for this challenge- may be way off track and then not vote on it....

Not much really but I have signed up for a dpl team and though this challenge won't be included in the tournament, I really don't want to get into the habit it getting below 5, just so I can help the team.
