We just experienced a 4.5 earthquake here in the central and northern Virginia! At least I have something to blame some of my "blurry focus" photos on! |

We're in Culpeper, lionel, and we felt it pretty strongly here. Windows, cupboards, glass all rattling. Kind of freaked me out at first, til I figured out what the heck it was. The dogs both went nuts about 5 seconds before it happened. Very interesting... |

earthquake location
Linda, I am in Reston .... some colleagues said their monitor was shaking but I did not noticed ... I think you're closer to the epicenter.

Yup, epicenter looks to be not too far down the road! Maybe 50 miles away or so. |
