This first shot was taken on Oct 22, 2006, shortly after I moved to Alaska.
This is the same ship and location - although from a couple different angles - taken today.....
What was a marsh with very little water now has a lot of water...and as the tide comes in it fills even more.

| I wish I had the 500mm lens with me today - then I could have gotten a closer view of the ship. But then I can always go back....it doesn't look like this ship is going anywhere |
