To be blunt loose change is a load of crap.

I've spent the past six months researching the JFK assassination and if there's one thing it's taught me it is that you should never believe anyone who bases a wild conspiracy theory on so called 'well researched evidence' unless you see the proof right there before you.

With regards to JFK, so called experts on the assassination conspiracy have come up with numerous wild ideas stated as fact including false statements from autopsy doctors regarding the alteration of the President's wounds, amateur interpretations of autopsy photographs by non qualified researchers leading to incorrect assumptions, the passing over of credible testimony against a conspiracy in favour of wild pro conspiracy testimony from unreliable sources and blatant falsifying of what is referred to as evidence and then passed down the chain of research as fact.

There are so many things you read that seem really exciting, like David Lifton and his conclusive evidence that the coffin that toom JFK from Dallas differed to that which arrived in DC. The body was also now in a body bag and it's wounds differed from those described by the doctors in Dallas. Interesting, right? Except it's not true. He's not even mistaken, he just plain made it up. These are the men who make thousands selling books on their theories.

To be honest there probably isn't a crackpot story, a crazy and conflicting eye witness account or ludicrous accusation that these conspiracy researchers wouldn't take seriously.

EDIT - If anyone wants to see a critical eye on the Loose Change conspiracy, take a look at Maddox's hilarious 'Unfastened Coins' spoof about the Titanic.
