I'm not imaginative enough.
I was going to put a hat on my cat and try to force him to sit and eat green eggs.
xD

Just because you're not going to enter doesn't mean you can't still go through with the activity. :)

Well, I might still go through it.
And risk getting sliced like a tomato by feline talons..
Now that could be a funny picture..

Now you're thinking!

Green eggs and ham I will not feed
to my cat who'll make me bleed.
;-)

LOL!
Such good poets here..

My daughter asked me if she could just photograph a page from a Suess book for this challenge. I had to explain the "pre-existing art" rule. That she can incorporate something of Suess' in her image, but the image cannot be exlusively OF a Suess image (i.e., page from a book). I found it hard to explain.....I hope our newer members understand that rule.

Actually that rule no longer exists.

From that thread:

A brief explanation of the new artwork rule as I understand it:

If everyone KNOWS it's artwork (an obvious painting, sculpture or illustration), then it's legal... although the voters will probably pummel it. If the artwork appears to be photorealistic and essentially IS the subject of your photo (a picture of a monitor screen or print, with or without trivial added elements), then it's illegal. You can include photo-realistic artwork as part of a greater composition, but you should try to make sure it's used in a "supporting role" along with other important elements.

I understand that to mean a picture of a picture (drawing, painting, etc.) and nothing else would be disqualified.

Oh, when he said "print" I assumed it meant a photo of a print (you know, a photo printed out). I didn't think it meant artwork/drawings/paintings.

Hmmm... good point. If it's OBVIOUSLY artwork, then it may not be DQ'd (though it could be for copyright infringement), but voters tend to punish straight artwork anyway.

The Foot Book..

LOL.
I almost forgot about this!
Dr. Suess wrote a book.. On the cover was a drawing of seven naked women.
I forgot the name of the book, but I will find out during my T.A. period and post the name here when I get home from school.
A good book for those photographers who excell with their nude shots.
=P

EDIT: The Seven Lady Godivas.

I can't believe how few have entered this close to rollover. I am not in this one but now wish that I had managed to get a shot. As it is I am midway through 33 hours worth of flights so not much chance of editing let alone shooting.

At least voting will be easy.

I wish I'd seen the list earlier. Doubt I'll have time to come up with anything now. It's already dark here and I hate shooting in artificial light.

It looks if there aren't many submissions (38 at the moment). So less creativity around here, or can't you do nothing with the subject?

I've been having a bit of trouble coming up with the costume for my idea, and my sewing machine is literally buried behind boxes at the moment.
Weather is NOT cooperating for alternate ideas. :(

Just a litte...but hey I wouldn't mind making top 50. It'd be a first. And yeah I have an idea for the challenge but my models happen to all be occupied for the day so tonight...tonight.

I'm in!!!!! Doing the Snoopy Happy Dance! I am SOOOOO happy with the look of the final product. Was not sure if I was going to be able to make this challenge but since I suggested it in the forums awhile back I thought I should get my butt into this challenge.
