I had a problem with my old D100 and sent it to DD for a fix, they sent it to Nikon UK and never charged me.. YIPEE I got it back yesterday and took it out for a trial run today, guess what?... still broken!!! I was so upset I took it straight back to the shop and said to them "Sorry.. I LOVE this camera but it just let me down again with the same fault..I see you have a D70s in the window, you know, you should really give me that one to replace this and not charge me any extra" The guy looked at me, and I waited for the "GET LOST YOU IDIOT!!" but he smiled and said "You have not been very lucky with Nikon UK lately have you?.. The D200 had to go back twice now this... sure you can have the D70s in exchange with no extra cost, here you go" Well if he wasn't so ugly (and Mark Simms would be too jealous) then I'de of kissed the man right there..

So far so good, seems a lot like my old D70 I had years ago with a few extra bits on it... I see the D70s page needs a 6.9 to get onto it but I am banned for 3 months so all I can say is "Enjoy the time because my first few shots entered after my ban will ALL be with the D70s and i WILL get on that page..."

It seems to be a very nice camera to back up my D200. I hope so.

Hats off to Digital Depot in Stevenage, great customer care service.
