I was wondering if anyone has or had used right angle view finders, and if there's a difference between a Brand named (i.e. Nikon) and a generic (like this one //cgi.ebay.com/1-2X-Right-Angle-View-Finder-Nikon-Canon-Fuji-Olympus_W0QQitemZ260111540157QQihZ016QQcategoryZ15215QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
If I can save myself $100 bucks I'll do just that but I need to know if those are just junk.

Thanks

I have a Canon Angle Finder. Pricey. But I was validated early one when a fellow shooter asked to try mine out. He said it was much much better than the hoodman knockoff, and the price difference was 40 dollars.

I would assume the Nikon one compared to a knockoff would be the same.

I have often thought about getting one of these but didn't look into the prices...$34 is all! Seems pretty resonable to me. Or is that just an ebay thing?

on a side note I saw a right angle "lens" adapter once that allowed you to aim the camera in one direction and shoot in the other. Seems like a great idea for candids.
